Are you possibly facing an un-planned pregnancy and wondering who to turn to? Your church wants to reach out and help you during this time, but if you don't feel ready to talk with one of our pastors, consider Life Choices Pregnancy Clinic. Ventura Counseling Center, an outreach ministry of Ventura Missionary Church, has been serving the community for over 30 years. They provide clinical Christian counseling in the areas of: Individual and Family Counseling, Children, Teens, Marital and Premarital. They are committed to serving individuals and families of various backgrounds, as well as those with or without religious affiliation.

Blazing Grace was a ministry for people struggling with sexual addiction. Though this ministry isn't currently active, there is great information, testimonies and advice to be found on their website. It's worth checking out. For personal help, please check out the sites below.

Heart to Heart Counseling Services focuses on healing from sexual addiction or the effects of living with an addict. They offer phone counseling, 3-day intensives and conferences. You can find out more about their services at their website.

Pure Intimacy is an online ministry of Focus of the Family devoted to the biblical truth that human sexuality flows from the image of God that we bear as male and female and is a good gift from God.Our goal at Pure Intimacy is to present to others the healing and transformation that we’ve found in Jesus Christ.

Pure Life Ministries exists to serve Christian individuals and organizations dealing with sexual sin throughout the world by providing biblically based counseling, teaching materials and a public speaking ministry with the goal of leading Christians to victory over sexual sin and into a deeper life in God.

XXXchurch.com is a multi-faceted ministry reaching out to those in the porn industry and those effected by it. Their site offers great information, prayer support, newsletter and events to see people set free from an industry that ultimately destroys people and families. By the way, don't let the title confuse you. The site is not pornographic, but be aware that the content is very open on the topic.

homelessness

The Ojai Valley Family Shelter's mission is to provide advocacy for homeless persons and families in the Ojai Valley area of Ventura County, California, including, but not limited to the City of Ojai, by encouraging and coordinating efforts to provide shelter and other services for those without adequate housing.

Beginning in December and continuing for four months, we provide for the homeless in our community a safe, restful and clean environment in which to spend the night. Our volunteers provide them with a hot meal, warm shower and clean sleeping space in the evening and a good breakfast the next morning. Click on this link to visit our site, ovfs.org.

The Kingdom Center calls on the church to serve the least of these in Ventura County by providing a Christ-Centered Transitional Living Center for the homeless.

As area churches act in unity, we can provide a center that reflects THE Church working together to address the needs of the single mothers, young adults, men and woman homeless that have no place to sleep, no food to eat, no clothes to wear, and mostly no one to love them as Christ would love them. This Center will display all the churches logos that have committed to sponsor the work; no one more prominent than another.
