Ron Triggs is our Senior Pastor. He and his wife Vicki have served CLC since 1988 in various ministries. They have three children and live in the Ojai Valley. What matters to him...?

"There are so many great answers to that question. When someone's eaten the last of the ice cream, that matters. But seriously, nothing can compare to those moments when God's Spirit touches the heart of a person with his love and truth in a transforming way. Yeah, that's way better than ice cream any day, and it's my prayer to be used of God for that purpose. My family matters to me big time. My wife Vicki is truly my best friend in the world, and we're both blessed to get to raise our kids to know their Creator, Jesus, first hand. Life in him is a beautiful gift!

"I'd have to say people matter (because pastors have to say that). Honestly, they do, and I've noticed the closer I get to Jesus the more I love the people he died for... even me. Being a servant to every person I meet matters a ton. If it was good for Jesus, it's good for me. Mostly, though, just to marvel (do we still use that word?) at who God is... the depth of his wisdom, the reliability of his character, the completeness of his love... man I could think about those things 'til the cows come home."

Cherry Loe has served as Children's Director at Church of the Living Christ since 2000. She loves to reach children through creative group activities that allow each child to experience God's truths at his or her own level. Cherry has taught children in church or as a Kindergarten teacher for over 35 years. She and her husband Ron have three children and four grandchildren.  They make their home in Ojai, California. What matters to Cherry?

I want to see our church cultivate an environment  that leads children and adults to discover their destiny,  their value, and God's plan for their lives.  I want to see children and adults acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Savior,  be filled with His Holy Spirit, experience God in truth, power, and intimacy, and be equipped and released for ministry.

I desire CLC  to become more hungry and desperate for the heart of God that healing, miracles, signs and wonders will follow.   So that, we can be, to our community, a light that shines in the darkness and a witness that God is an all powerful God.   To see Ojai Valley become a place known to the world for a people who love God, a place where His Truth reigns with power and authority, and a place of real peace.

Joe Moss serves as our Worship and Creative Arts Pastor and Communications Director. He has a passion to develop God given talents and musical abilities within individuals and bring them together as a united team to lead people into God's presence through music and the arts. Joe's genuine and flowing style makes it easy to sing along and enter into worship.

Joe and his wife Tara recently married in January of '09. What matters to Joe?

"Many things matter in life.  Work, school, family and friends, however, all these important things cannot compare to our purpose on this planet! We are here, literally, to worship God with our lives. We are the sheep of  HIS pasture, not our own. I love to worship the Lord through music; it's just what I do.  Not all of us are gifted musically, yet every single person is called to worship God with everything that they say and do everyday. I love to help people worship our creator! I love to develop new leaders and musicians, and ultimately encourage people to worship their God passionately and completely."

Ramon & Carol Babilonia are our Spanish church pastors and together lead Evangelism Alive International establishing churches and training ministers in several Latin American countries. In Colombia, where the organization has the full support of the national government, they have been involved in starting over 200 churches.

“We are the first outside group approved by the Colombian government to train people for the ministry,” says Carol Babilonia, who, with her husband Ramon, founded Evangelism Alive and continues to lead the organization.

The ministry also oversees the No More Tears orphanage in the city of Pereira for 80 children. The orphanage boasts a farm where the children can grow vegetables and tend the cows that provide fresh milk. The children are also taught a trade, so that when they leave the orphanage they will be able to earn a living that doesn’t involve working for the drug cartels.

“Many of these children have been orphaned because their parents were murdered by the drug cartels, sometimes right in front of their own eyes,” Carol says.
